Education & Training

Education and Training focuses on building the capacity of the nonprofits and businesses in the community in order for them to serve the community better and become better community partners. ERCDC recognizes that it can't be all things to all people, as a result through workshops and technical assistance ERCDC assists those organizations/businesses to address those needs within the community that ERCDC does not address directly. Workshop topics vary and are dependent upon the changing needs of the nonprofits and the business owners within the community.



ERCDC partners with organizations, universities, banks and consultants to provide information and resources to the business and nonprofit community. Some of ERCDC's partners include: American University-Washington College of Law, The Greater Washington Board of Trade, Suntrust Bank, The Foundation Center, The Office of Local Business Development, American Skyline Insurance and the Greater Washington College Information Center - to name a few.
